If you attempt a race and finish just one lap down then you are guaranteed at least 26 pts.

In the event that you finish one lap down, points will be awarded based on the last position -10. (unless that number is less than 26) for instance... last position of racer who completed the # of laps was Shadow32 = 46 pts. In this case all racers who finished one lap down are awarded 36 pts.

Bonus points are awarded based on quickest hotlap during a race that is run the entire number of laps. This bonus is determined by the fastest lap ran during the fastest TRT of each driver. see BONUS PTS. Chart...
